‘BENGAL HAS THE HEART TO DONATE ORGANS’
Wonderful to be invited to this event by the Fortis Hospital, Kolkata, where senior doctors and all the seven heart recipients in Bengal since the first heart transplant in May ‘18 were present while the eighth recipient was recovering from the recent transplant and thriving.
Kolkata has the distinction of being the the only city in Kolkata where all the heart transplant cases have been successful and all the recipients have gone back to their normal lives – including Rupayan Roy who ran a marathon!
