The Live Kingsize Die Kingsize Foundation is a registered organisation formed with a one-point mission – to create awareness about Organ Donation (cadaveric) and to remove the various myths and fears surrounding the subject.
Although based in Kolkata, India, it aims to spread awareness and sensitivity about the cause all over India and across the world through different media.
The foundation is grateful to be associated with some of the senior-most doctors in the field of organ donation in India.
The Joint Director of ROTTO (Regional Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation) – the Government body for organ donation in West Bengal, is also a Valued Advisor to the foundation.
The foundation also has the support of eminent personalities from diverse fields who have themselves pledged with the foundation for organ donation such as Respected Kapil Dev, Geet Sethi, Suresh Oberoi, Bhagyashree, Nandita Das, Shiamak Davar, Usha Uthup, Harish Bhimani (the iconic voice of ‘Samay’ in TV serial ‘Mahabharat’), celebrated author Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni and many more.
The dream of the founder, Shruti Mohta, a TEDx speaker, is to usher in a social revolution so that in a few years no one dies for want of an organ.
